Juneteenth / Jammin 99

The 6th Annual Juneteenth Celebration was held on Saturday, June 11, 2011
behind OIC in Rocky Mount on Pennsylvania Avenue.  A few hundred people
came out for the festivities including a speech from NC NAACP President
Rev. William Barber II.  Other activities included performances from dance
troops, mime teams, church choirs, a drum circle, kids games and more.  Of
course Jammin 99 was there as we are proud to be a part of the community!
